Cole Choken Cancer Run

Hello People,

Cole , Brenda (Mother) Konstantinos (Step-Father) & Robin (Sister)  Give a Big Thank-You to Everyone, for their Support on the Cancer Run. Furthemore, coming out & supporting Cole, as he ran into Winnipeg, Manitoba Legislative Building, Oct 2, 2010. Cole is doing good as to be expected. Cole & Family had a bit of a rest, after arriving into Winnipeg. Cole being Cole, didn’t want to rest, he just needed to keep on running for the People. Cole needed to be back on the road immediately, Mother felt the same way. Advice was given to Cole and Family by their, Traditional Elder to rest a bit in their home in Winnipeg, before proceeding to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This also gave an opportunity to fix the unforeseen circumstances to truck maintenance/repairs, and laptop cleaning/repairs to hard drive. We took this opportunity to upload video footages/pictures to laptop and some on YouTube, which also needed to be done, more updates/footages to follow in the near future!

During this short rest from Cole’s Cancer Run from Mexico to Calgary Alberta, Canada, Cole had an opportunity to spend some time with his Family and Friends after being away from home for almost 10 months. Cole had his 25th Birthday on Oct 3, 2010. He made it home for his Birthday! Family and Friends Celebrated Cole’s Birthday at his Auntie Carol’s home, Cole’s Mother didn’t have to cook this year for Cole’s Birthday or Thanksgiving, just kicked back and enjoyed the laughter’s and the good Traditional food. Thanks to a good friend of their family, Mr. Mrs. Delos-Antos inviting them to their home to share Thanksgiving with them. A Special Thank you also to Carol McCorristor (Auntie) for giving Cole’s Mom a break from cooking this year for Cole’s Birthday!

Cole’s back on the road again, and running straight on #1 TransCanada Highway, follow Cole & Family on their GPS!

For those of you that are not aware Cole is continuing the Cancer Run Journey that began from Mexico Jan 1, 2010 to Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Cole Choken is in good health although, he continue’s to have some knee swelling periodically. Overall, my Son is doing good as to be expected on the Cancer Run from Mexico to Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada. Cole began his journey January 1, 2010 and will be arriving in Winnipeg at the Manitoba Legislative Buillding October 2, 2010 @ 3pm. Made contact with our Cousin Adam Beach in the past, to run along with us, for this Important Cause. Adam is a great support however, because of his minor accident, it is not stopping him from attending this Run. I will be riding with Adam on a bike. A Special Thank you to Freedom Concepts, Mr. Ken Vanstraelen and Public Relations officer Glenn for donating a bike. A special acknowledgement to Mia assistant to Dr. J. Gerrard for providing assistance. Also confimed with Adam Beach today to be the M C at the Legislative Bldg, October 2, 2010 at 3pm. Free food and Public Press Confrence to follow!
